Savannah Trombone Choir
Spring 2026
|
About the Ensemble:
The Savannah Trombone Choir was founded in 2017 by Savannah native Mark Spradley. This ensemble began as an educational initiative for high school students. While this mission continues, this performance opportunity will evolve as of spring 2026 to be inclusive to trombonists in the Savannah community. The Savannah Trombone Choir is made up of TWO choirs (Community Trombone Choir & Student Trombone Choir). These ensembles serve as an opportunity for trombonists in the Savannah area to come together and perform in a chamber music setting with fun and challenging repertoire. The Community Trombone Choir is made up of local trombone players in the community. The Student Trombone Choir is designated for students in grades 7-12. Advanced high school students may request to audition for Community Choir. Rehearsals are held once a week on Tuesday evenings. We typically perform concerts in the Fall & Spring and occasionally perform for other functions around Savannah. How do I join the Savannah Trombone Choir?
