The 7th Annual Savannah Trombone Workshop was a huge success! Thanks to Dr. Jessica Butler for making the trek from Southern Illinois University to work with us. Students~ keep up the hard work and we'll see you again next summer!

12/17/2019:

Over 30+ trombone players in Savannah joined together this month to perform a new holiday program, "A Trombone Christmas". This program featured local trombonists of all ages and abilities and was held at Wesley Monumental United Methodist Church. Here are some highlights from our performance on December 17th, 2019. The Savannah Trombone Choir will perform on Monday, May 13th at 7:00 PM in the sanctuary of First Presbyterian Church. This ensemble is comprised of high school students from Savannah and surrounding areas. This concert will last approximately an hour and will showcase some of the repertoire we have been working on this spring. You can RSVP to this concert on our Facebook event. See you there!

02/04/2018:

The Savannah Trombone Choir performed this morning at Wesley Monumental. This service commemorated the 150th anniversary of the church's founding with a sermon given by the Bishop of the United Methodist Church. Honored that we could be a part of this special event!

12/20/2016:

Our annual "Yuleslide" Holiday Concert was a huge success! Trombone players from all around Savannah met twice this month to perform holiday music to compliment the beautiful light display at the Coastal Botanical Gardens. We were fortunate enough to have Bill Hazlett, the founder of Yuleslide, join us to perform several of his arrangements of traditional holiday tunes!

10/23/2016:

On Saturday November 12, we will be hosting a clinic to help students in preparation for their GMEA District Honor Band and All-State Band auditions. This clinic will last an hour and a half. There will be a mock audition to conclude the class. The student who obtains the highest score on this audition will receive a full scholarship towards the 2017 Savannah Trombone Workshop!
